Deafblind NAG Information Update

The Deafblind NAG (DBNAG) is a separate support process where two (2) Deafblind ‘Champions’ who will sit on the British Sign Language National Advisory Group (BSL NAG). They will take information and opinions from the BSL NAG to the DBNAG and Deafblind Communities, gain information and opinions from DBNAG and Deafblind Communities and feedback into BSL NAG.

The closing date for application to DBNAG and to be DBNAG ‘Champions’ is 12.00pm on Monday 15 February 2016. We would like applications to be on DBNAG, but we know some will wish to be on BSL NAG as well.

To apply, Deafblind Scotland (DbS) can send out the application form in format of your choice. Deafblind BSL users can come into Deafblind Scotland to complete these forms. You can also sign (BSL) your answers to the application form and have it recorded. To support interested applicants, we have BSL / English Interpreters booked on the following dates / times below in the Training Room at Deafblind Scotland Lenzie Office:

  • Wednesday 3 February 2016 at 5.00pm – 8.00pm

  • Friday 5 February 2016 at 1.00pm – 7.00pm

  • Sunday 7 February 2016 at 11.00am – 5.00pm

  • Wednesday 10 February 2016 at 4.00pm – 9.00pm

  • Saturday 13 February 2016 at 10.00am – 4.00pm
